What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor position at New Hope Treatment Center?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess a diverse skill set to provide counseling services to individuals in need. The Counselor will work as part of a team to ensure quality opioid use disorder treatment is provided to all patients in accordance with federal, state, & local laws & regulations. The Counselor will carry a caseload of opioid-dependent patients.
Schedule: Mon - Fridays 5am - 12:30pm rotation of Saturdays 6-9am
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Service related field (Required)
Duties
- Case management
- Providing individual therapy
- Ensuring patient confidentiality
- Conducting assessments
- Providing group therapy
- Clinical documentation
- Crisis-intervention as appropriate
- Coordinating care for patients on caseload
- Providing referrals to patients as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Services field or Clinical Psychology
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills are also beneficial.
- Must work well as part of a team
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $51,000.00 per year
