Position Summary: New Hope Treatment Centers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Controller to oversee the organization’s financial operations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring financial health and compliance, allowing us to continue providing life-changing services to young people. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and a passion for working in a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and auditing.
· Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Oversee the organization’s accounting processes, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
· Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
· Collaborate with leadership to develop financial strategies that support organizational goals.
· Manage cash flow and oversee investment planning to maintain financial stability.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies.
· Mentor and develop finance team members to build capacity and foster professional growth.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
· Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or financial management (experience in a nonprofit or healthcare setting is a plus).
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and financial analysis.
· Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
