Compensation & Benefits:
$21.43 per hour starting pay, paid weekly
Example Schedules: (Saturday's required based on department)
- Sunday Monday Tuesday – 6pm - 6pm // 6pm - 6 am
- Wednesday Thursday Friday - 6am - 6pm // 6pm - 6 am

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Pullaway ensures that all products are coded and properly bagged. They inspect and package the finished product. They stack and wrap the finished product and transport to the shipping staging area.
Required Skills
- Follow instructions: Demonstrated ability to follow prescribed procedures in and reliable manner, paying close attention to detailed rules and regulations and following them at all times
- Operations Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Coordination: Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions in an effective and efficient manner
- Operation and Control: Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Preferred Skills
- Apply GMP: Familiarity with applying regulations regarding manufacture of food and food safety compliance
- Use packaging equipment: Knowledge of use fastening and packaging tools such as plastic strapping, applicators, and adhesives, marking and labelling equipment, and tape.
- Monitor Machine operations: Knowledge of observing machine operations and evaluating product quality thereby ensuring conformity to standards.
- Ensure quality control in packaging: Experience with implementing and monitor activities so that all requirements of packing procedures and packing standards are met at all times.
- Check quality of products on the production line: Experience with checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items before and after packaging.
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Example Activities:
- Take empty stacks of trays to the tray wash.
- Load and unload trailers when necessary.
- Correct jams in the auto stacker as necessary by lifting or shifting the stack.
- Operates and makes necessary adjustments to the auto stacker.
- Break down stacks as needed to remove a broken tray.
- Help hand stack trays when packers need assistance.
- Keep track of stacks on tally sheet and check code during run.
- Responsible for ensuring proper count for shipping.
- Keep work area clean and sanitary, follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Responsible for maintaining good safety practices all the time.
- Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in work area an adjoining area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervision.
Abilities Required
Have the ability to perform all jobs in Muffin and/or Bun make-up.
Able to lift 50 pounds. Able to stand for 8 hours a day. Able to communicate with other employees. Able to follow written and verbal instructions in a timely manner.
