We are seeking a Medical Transportation Coordinator to join our team at New Horizons, Serving Individuals with Special Needs. This role involves transporting residents to medical appointments, scheduling medical appointments, assisting group home residents with their personal needs and/or household responsibilities, and performing clerical tasks in the nurses' office as needed.
The successful candidate will possess a valid California Driver License with a good driving record, current CPR and First Aid certifications, and be able to pass a criminal background check. They must also take the Direct Support Professional (DSP) training and pass the test within the first year of hire.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
