Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator & Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients while managing administrative tasks that support the efficiency of our office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and comfortable handling both patient interactions and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Coordination:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health system.
- Manage patient records request and following HIPAA.
- Answer patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Take payments and review fee schedules and contracts with patients.
- Pretesting patients before seeing the doctor.
Office Administration:
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures
- Reconcile daily accounting sheets.
- Handle billing, insurance, and payment processing for a limited number of insurance claims.
- Organize and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
- Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Two years experience in a healthcare or medical administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workplace, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- A compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
