POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the clinical team in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer including: oversight of scheduling staff work hours to assure appropriate coverage for all shifts, continuous evaluation of client status and appropriately plan and coordinate treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs.
- Provide day-to-day clinical supervision and consultation to the clinical team, including individual supervision and training. The Clinical Director will maintain accurate documentation of supervisory meetings and effectively supports, coaches, and manages assigned staff, and continuously support the wellness and development of the clinical team.
- Conduct performance reviews for all clinical staff. Establish work plans and priorities for all assigned staff, performance management, and take corrective action as needed. Identify, provide, and track professional development and training needs for all assigned staff. Schedule and maintain regular supervision with all assigned staff.
- Ensures the highest quality of behavioral health care and is responsible for consultation on patient cases and provides crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
- Provide direct counseling services (individual, couples and group counseling). Maintains a small caseload.
- Report staff issues and Human Resource Management concerns to the Chief Operating Officer. * Primary decision maker and leader in interviewing, hiring and training new clinical staff and student interns.
- Monitor the overall effectiveness, efficiency of agency site and services, and implements changes that increase and maintain the highest level of quality. Partner with the Associate Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer to incorporate best practice standards and the flexibility to meet the changing needs of target populations and conduct ongoing assessments of program's needs.
- Participate in trainings and coordination meetings as required.
- Participate in the QAPI Team meetings.
- Demonstrate ability to conduct assessments, knowledge, and skill in providing evidence-based treatment of mental health disorders and substance use treatment.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Cascade Counseling and Consulting, LLC as a supervisor and clinician.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or similar
- Must be independently licensed as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or similar and have no restrictions on your ability to practice. * Must have ten years of post-graduate direct clinical treatment experience.
- Must have experience providing clinical supervision, chart review and clinical consultation in a behavioral health setting.
- Must meet the Arizona requirements to provide clinical supervision to clinicians seeking independent licensure.
- At least five years’ experience managing mental health and/or SUD services in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work with standard office programs including SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with working with an EHR.
- Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters. * Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner. High attention to detail required.
COMPENSATION
- Salary starts at $110,00 (full time) a year depending on experience and qualifications, * Paid sick leave, paid vacation, and paid holidays.
