Accounting Specialist

The Position Focus & Opportunity:

• Post and pay invoices, review vendor statements, review and resolve discrepancies, and communicate any adjustments

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, short paid invoices, backup documentation, and all other accounts payable inquiries

• Scan/save documents to shared folder

• Manage dock appointments using online software

• Save all inbound and outbound tickets in shared folder

• Use excel to validate loads

• Distribute reports, documents, and other materials as appropriate

• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Proficient in Microsoft systems including Outlook, Word, Excel and general computer systems including scanning, printing

• Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills

• Strong communication and follow up skills

• Effective interpersonal skills

Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $25.00 -$28.00 per hour. Other rewards may include quarterly bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance.
