Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Staff to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage sales orders, incoming payments, maintain accurate financial records and vendor portals, and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices, supporting the financial health and efficiency of our company. This is a full-time, onsite role in Corona, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Order Management: Create new sales orders in QuickBooks on time.
- Invoice Management: Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly.
- Vendor Portal: Ensure vendor portals are updated with accurate information.
- Payment Processing: Record payments and reconcile customer accounts.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers regularly to ensure payments are accounted for and posted.
- Collections: Monitor outstanding balances, follow up with clients on overdue accounts, and implement collection strategies.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, aging analyses, and collection efforts.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities follow company policies and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with sales and customer service teams to address client issues and improve billing processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable or a similar role in residential construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for client and internal communication.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking ability.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze information and develop solutions.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
Hourly rate is $25-$29 per hour, plus full benefits, 401k, paid holidays and vacation
