Key Responsibilities
- Operate mammographic equipment and other devices according to established policies and protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while ensuring excellent patient care.
- Understand and utilize various settings on the equipment, including compression, exposure modes, filters, and grids, to produce optimal images.
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams and respond to any discomfort or medical issues that arise.
- Guide patients through the exam process by providing clear instructions and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Respond to physician inquiries regarding patient information.
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(M) certification
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- BLS certification
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred
