Summary of Job Function: Performs routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Job Qualifications: Experience required in Mammography and related testing and Quality Control in Mammography. Current valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), for radiography and mammography and holds a valid New Jersey State licensure. Is compliant in maintaining current continuing education credits as required by the FDA/ MQSA and ACR. BLS required.
