We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
Position Details:
Location: Edison County: Middlesex
Hours Per Work Week: 8 Weekly Work Schedule: Sat. 9am-5pm
Other shifts are available at this location.

Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
- Assist and supervises in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills
