Position Summary : Lead, market and direct activities for NJIT Hub for CreativePlacemaking. Convene cross-campus team and promote NJIT's Film / TVindustry workforce development efforts. Host Bi-Weekly MTSM podcast.
Essential Functions :
Director of NJIT Hub for Creative Placemaking :
Market Hub, CPC course and any related workshops / bootcamps
Attend related industry events
Provide related service to NJ NFPs, etc.
Interface with industry professionals
NJIT Film / TV Workforce Development :
Convene bi-monthly meetings
Book Special Guests
Interface with Industry and State organizations andprofessionals
Advanced Degree and professional certifications in arts,culture and related industries.
At the university's discretion, the education and experienceprerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to thesatisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education andexperience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Preferred Qualifications :
Expertise and related leadership experience with creativeplacemaking, the arts, culture and creative industries.
Knowledge, leadership experience andengagement with municipal, county, statewide arts and cultural-relatedinnovation, activities, funding opportunities.
