New Jersey Respiratory Associates (NJRA) is seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruiter to join our growing team. This role blends traditional recruiting with essential staffing coordination functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and passionate about building strong healthcare teams across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
· Source, screen, and interview candidates for clinical and non-clinical roles.
· Manage job postings across various platforms and ensure they remain up-to-date.
· Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
· Maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
· Extend verbal offers and initiate the onboarding process.
· Prepare and gather all necessary onboarding items from new hires.
· Coordinate with HR and credentialing teams to ensure compliance and onboarding completion.
· Assist with managing candidate pipelines for clinical full-time, part-time, and PRN roles.
Staffing Coordination
· Assist in scheduling and coordinating new hire first day with hiring manager.
· Support scheduling efforts by tracking staffing needs across NJRA facilities.
· Collaborate with ventilator facility managers and Staffing Coordinator to monitor and fill open shifts and call outs.
· Assist with scheduling Road Respiratory Therapists as needed.
Administrative Support
· Maintain candidate records in UKG ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
· Prepare weekly recruitment and staffing reports.
· Provide feedback to leadership on hiring trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition (healthcare preferred).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self-starter that is comfortable working independently.
· Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
· Familiarity with ATS, CRM, or HRIS platforms is a plus.
Work Environment:
· On-site role based out of Fairfield, NJ.
· Occasional travel to career fairs, hiring events, and regional sites may be required.
· Occasional after-hours and weekend availability may be required for staffing coordination.
