Title : Human Resources & Safety Manager
Compensation Range : $80,000-85,000
Location : Camarillo, CA

As the Human Resources & Safety Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, leading recruitment efforts, ensuring HR and safety compliance, and fostering positive employee relations. What You’ll Do :
Lead recruitment efforts, facilitate new hire orientations, and maintain accurate employee records, including I-9 forms.
Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, manage counseling and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Ensure accuracy in timekeeping, attendance tracking, payroll processing, and manage PTO and leave requests.
Oversee 401(k) enrollment, benefits programs, insurance processes, and maintain employee training and performance records.
Manage safety programs, conduct monthly safety inspections, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain safety documentation.
Plan and coordinate company events, health initiatives, and recognition activities, while managing logistics with external vendors.
Maintain accurate HR and safety records for audits and liaise with external agencies such as workers' compensation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed :
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, occupational safety, or a related field preferred.
Five or more years of experience in Human Resources and Safety Administration.
Experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance with HR and safety regulations.
Familiarity with OSHA standards, workplace safety programs, and ISO-9001 : 2015 preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS / payroll systems.
Experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Ability to conduct workplace safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Frequent walking, sitting, and standing in office and industrial environments.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
