Our company is currently seeking a Production Worker / Axle Assembler to carry out various tasks in our busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude. Successful applicants will be responsible for operating production line equipment; we do limited welding projects, so welding experience a plus but not required. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive salary ($18.00 - $20.00 per hour) and generous paid time off!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assemble goods on production lines
- Pack goods to be shipped
- Monitor the production process
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks
- Maintain work areas and equipment
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be able lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly, unassisted
- Must be able to read work orders
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must have a strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Must be able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation
- Welding experience a plus
