General Laborer/ Floater

Responsibilities Include:

This Will be a Dedicated Floater Position helping out and cross training in various areas including Assembly, shipping and stockroom.

• Verify components with the bill of materials to ensure accuracy.
• Have Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds as well as be able to stand for 10 hours during your shift.
• Use of basic manufacturing equipment.
• Comfortable with hand tools and power tools for cutting, drilling, punching, grinding, torquing and fastening.
• Have the ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and within the time frame allowed.
• Read drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast paced team environment.
• Keep area organized and clean up to company standards by following standard 5’s practices.
• Able to Complete and maintain paperwork/ documentation for all jobs.
• Assist other team members with various duties as needed.
• Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
• Package and Process orders as needed via UPS
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on time delivery of shipments
• Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
• The successful candidate will need to be fast paced, high detailed, and proactive on problem solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
