TITLE : High School Chemistry Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must hold a valid state teaching certification as set by the State certification requirements ( 031, 034)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bilingual in English and Spanish.Experience in teaching AP Chemistry or similar advanced courses.REPORTS TO :

To engage students in the study of chemistry, fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry to prepare them for future academic and career endeavors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with state and national science standards.Implement a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations, ensuring student safety and proper handling of materials.Assess student performance through tests, projects, and lab work, providing timely and constructive feedback.Encourage student participation and inquiry through discussions, group work, and hands-on activities.Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance learning experiences.Collaborate with fellow science teachers and participate in departmental meetings to share resources and best practices.Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and classroom behavior.Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in chemistry education.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :
