Job Title: Business Development - Veterans & Military Program


Position Type: Full-time


Overview:

New Method Wellness, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterans and Military Outreach Specialist to manage the admissions process for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families in our dual-diagnosis addiction treatment program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by service members and their families, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to guiding veterans on their journey to recovery.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Admissions Coordination:
    1. Manage the intake process for veterans, active duty military personnel and family members entering the dual diagnosis rehab program.
    2. Conduct initial assessments to determine the suitability of veterans for the program.
    3. Ensure all necessary documentation and information are collected and processed efficiently.
  2. Outreach and Engagement:
    1. Develop and maintain relationships with veterans' organizations, VA hospitals, and community groups to promote the program.
    2. Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage potential program participants.
    3. Represent New Method Wellness, Inc. at events, workshops, and meetings related to veterans' services.
  3. Case Management:
    1. Provide personalized support and guidance to veterans throughout the admission process.
    2. Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
    3. Monitor and track the progress of veterans in the program, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
      Advocacy and Support:
    4. Advocate for veterans' needs within the organization and with external partners.
    5. Provide information and referrals to additional services and resources as needed.
    6. Offer ongoing support to veterans and their families, addressing any concerns or barriers to treatment.
  4. Program Development:
    1. Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
    2. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the dual diagnosis veterans rehab program.
    3. Gather and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of outreach and admissions efforts.


Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience working with veterans or in a similar outreach/admissions role.
  3. Strong understanding of dual diagnosis and the challenges faced by veterans.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.


Preferred Qualifications:


  1. Master's degree in a related field.
  2. Certification in case management or related area.
  3. Military service or experience working with military populations.
  4. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Salary : $66,560 - $100,000
