Overview:
New Method Wellness, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterans and Military Outreach Specialist to manage the admissions process for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families in our dual-diagnosis addiction treatment program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by service members and their families, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to guiding veterans on their journey to recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admissions Coordination:
- Manage the intake process for veterans, active duty military personnel and family members entering the dual diagnosis rehab program.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine the suitability of veterans for the program.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and information are collected and processed efficiently.

- Outreach and Engagement:
- Develop and maintain relationships with veterans' organizations, VA hospitals, and community groups to promote the program.
- Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage potential program participants.
- Represent New Method Wellness, Inc. at events, workshops, and meetings related to veterans' services.
- Case Management:
- Provide personalized support and guidance to veterans throughout the admission process.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and track the progress of veterans in the program, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
Advocacy and Support: - Advocate for veterans' needs within the organization and with external partners.
- Provide information and referrals to additional services and resources as needed.
- Offer ongoing support to veterans and their families, addressing any concerns or barriers to treatment.
- Provide personalized support and guidance to veterans throughout the admission process.
- Program Development:
- Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the dual diagnosis veterans rehab program.
- Gather and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of outreach and admissions efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with veterans or in a similar outreach/admissions role.
- Strong understanding of dual diagnosis and the challenges faced by veterans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification in case management or related area.
- Military service or experience working with military populations.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Salary : $66,560 - $100,000
