The Division of Enrollment Management is a key campus thought partner that provides collaborative leadership in university-wide efforts, utilizing systematic, innovative, and synergistic approaches to leverage a data-informed enrollment strategy to improve market distinctiveness, and execute the campus strategic plan. The division comprises the offices of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid & Scholarships, University Registrar, and Undergraduate Admissions.

The Office of Enrollment Management aims to align the initiatives and activities of academic units and administrative divisions with campus strategic goals through sustainable enrollment planning. The office engages campus partners in meaningful conversations on enrollment trends and outcomes and uses industry expertise and data-driven analytics to inform direction and decision-making.

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of veteran benefit policy/process/operational issues. Serves as Primary School Certifying Official (SCO) in coordination with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Point of Contact for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Memorandum of Understanding. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for designing and implementing solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals related to the certification and application of veteran benefits which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for implementation. Responsible for the evaluation of freshman and transfer applications. Applies skills as an undergraduate admission professional. Evaluates and makes determinations regarding applications for admission using established guidelines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Required
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all information security standards and confidentiality policies. Required
  • Analytical / problem-solving skills. Required
  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses. Required
  • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Required
  • Strong policy analysis techniques. Required
  • Knowledge of federal and State of California veteran education and work benefits. Preferred
  • Knowledge of UC admissions requirements, administrative areas, academic programs, curricula, and policies related to military-connected student benefits, Preferred
  • Familiarity with U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Enrollment Manager online platform. Preferred

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $66,700- $79,650 (Annual).


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a positon related to evaluation of undergraduate admission applications or veteran certification processes


Preferred:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a positon related to evaluation of undergraduate admission applications or veteran certification processes.
