The Accounting Staff Member will be responsible for performing general accounting functions using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains). This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using Great Plains.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
