- Maintain work flow by monitoring equipment, personnel, resources, steps of the process, setting processing variables and observing control points.
- Implement cost reductions by developing reporting procedures, maintaining equipment, correcting equipment malfunctions and controlling scrap levels.
- Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment/techniques.
- Must excel at motivating employees to communicate effectively and work safely to meet production goals.
- Must have knowledge of and be skilled at working with a computer
- Working accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication skills
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with ability to read and understand schematics.
- Mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge.
