Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Problem solving, multi-tasking abilities.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, breakdown, preventative and predictive measures.
• Communicating job expectations to employees.
• Enforcing policies and procedures.
• Effective management of current employees thru planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining.
• Maintain staffing levels by selecting, orienting, training and developing personal growth opportunities of employees.
• Maintain work flow by monitoring equipment, personnel, resources, steps of the process, setting processing variables and observing control points.
• Implement cost reductions by developing reporting procedures, maintaining equipment, correcting equipment malfunctions and controlling scrap levels.
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment/techniques.
• Must excel at motivating employees to communicate effectively and work safely to meet production goals.
• Must have knowledge of and be skilled at working with a computer
• Working accurately and efficiently.
• Good communication skills
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with ability to read and understand schematics.
• Mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge.
