Summary
At New Morning Schools, we strive to provide consistent, high-quality childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire! Your time at the after-school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Your goal each day should be to check in with each child, even if it's just to say hello. Children look up to our Team Members as role models and we want you to make a difference! Our off-site School Age program in Auburn is located at the Auburn Village Elementary School, afternoon hours are 1:30-6pm Monday-Friday. Additional hours are available during the am program as a Group Leader. Hours are 6:45-9:00.
Duties
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily Attendance Paperwork
- Daily crafts/gym games
- Provide aid in a medical emergency
- Help maintain a safe environment for children and staff
- Encourage positive behavior guidance
- Greet parents and children daily
- Help train new staff members as needed
- Attend monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
- Follow day to day staff assignments
- Communicate with the office when needed
Requirements
- At least 20 years old
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree in a child related field or 12 Education Credits and 1000 hours of experience working with school age children
Nice To Haves
- 1 years of experience working with school age children
- CPR/First aid
- 1 years of supervisory experience
