Location: Clinton Township
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 8:30am-5pm or other full-time equivalent.
Reports To: Director of Nursing / Site Director / Site Supervisors / Regional Nursing Supervisors
Compensation: Hourly Employee; $17-$18/hour. Commensurate with experience.
Position Summary: The Medical Assistant/Receptionist is a full-time or part-time position comprised of multiple clinical and administrative duties for the FACE to FACE Partial Hospitalization and Outpatient Programs. The Medical Assistant/Receptionist will work closely with consumers and both clinical and administrative staff across all levels of the organization.

- Assists in site screening procedures when needed
- Answers phones in a polite and professional manner and relays messages accurately and timely
- Schedules, reschedules, and confirms appointments
- Assists in the process of opening and closing the office
- Collects and records patient payments
- Ensures that all consumers receive, complete, and fill out intake paperwork
- Obtains vital signs (BP, HR, Wt and Ht) for consumers as directed and documents findings appropriately
- Assists in confirming, obtaining, and updating consents and other required documentation for lab work, including lab requisition forms, transportation team and other internal and external entities
- Assists with lab specimen collection (urine only)
- Assists nurse with maintaining first aid kits and medication sample inventory
- Possesses the ability to resolve crisis situations appropriately
- Assists nurse and prescriber with Telehealth processes
- Completes documentation and training as required by the clinic's policies/procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
