Summary/Objective
This position is under the direct supervision of the General Manager’s Executive Assistant and is responsible for receptionist duties and answering the main telephone lines coming into the club.
Essential Functions

1. Answers the club’s switchboard in a timely and efficient manner; directs calls to the appropriate departments
2. Take reservations for dining rooms
3. Assists in filing, labeling, stuffing, and sorting various materials when requested to assist various departments at the club
4. Serves as coat check person when necessary
5. Assists members with questions and complaints, when possible
6. Takes messages for the General Manager and department heads

Work Environment
This Receptionist operates on club property in a professional office environment. The person in this role routinely interacts in a professional manner with both employees and members.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the availability to work:
- Tuesday - Friday 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday 4:30 - 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Some Holidays
***When events are scheduled, the Receptionist could be called to work until the event has ended. Shift times can be flexible. Employee must be flexible.***
Required Education and Experience
- Ability to communicate in English with all callers, to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible messages.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 6 months customer service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
