The Financial Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the success of our projects by ensuring accurate financial data, thorough analysis, and clear presentation. As a member of the project team, you will work closely with project coordinators and project management staff to track and analyze project financial data, develop methods of valuing work performed, and communicate trends or concerns to project management.
This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including building and maintaining project schedules, executing customer billing projections, analyzing project financial data, and providing weekly cost reports to project management and field supervision. You will also participate in project conference calls, validate and approve project invoicing, and submit and record Affidavit of Completions. Additional duties include completing project reconciliation, preparing monthly reporting of key performance indicators, and ensuring accurate and final account receivables.
Key qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, and 3-5 years of professional experience in construction or project controls. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office and experience with programs such as Smartsheet, Vista, PowerBI, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Adobe, are also highly valued.
