What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electric Motor Winder position at New Seasons Placement?
Key Responsibilities:
- Winding Coils: Wind coils of wire around cores to create electromagnetic fields, a crucial process for motor and generator function.
- Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faulty motors, generators, and transformers, including replacing or reconditioning components.
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install various types of coils for electric motors or transformers.
- Testing: Conduct tests on electrical components using specialized equipment to ensure they meet specifications.
- Insulation and Finishing: Apply insulation to windings, and perform finishing tasks like cutting, stripping, and bending wire leads.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of production, operational data, and test results.
- Quality Control: Identify and address quality concerns, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety training.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in motors, generators, and transformers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Field Installation: Install and service equipment in the field.
- Rewinding: Rewind electric motors, stators, and armatures.
- Inspecting: Inspect equipment and parts for damage and diagnose potential failures.
- Provide Recommendations: Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
