JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager's responsibilities include coordinator recruitment efforts for the New Settlement YouthBuild program. This includes developing and maintaining a digital and social media presence. The Marketing Manager will present the organization online and in-person at events to promote the program and bring awareness to the community and potential candidates to increase enrollment. Also represent our organization at trade fairs, organizing media events, fundraising, and coordinating volunteer activities. To be a successful Marketing Manager, you should have excellent presentation skills, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should also be skilled in graphics and design software and in handling administrative duties.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Must be experienced in creating marketing materials, i.e.: flyers, brochures, print and video advertising
- Experienced with creating promotional campaigns and developing and managing content on various social media platforms
- Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships
- Able to present in-person and online
- Previous experience conducting outreach in person and virtually
- Tech-savvy, including social media, google platform, Microsoft Office
- Handle public relations, such as developing strategic relationships, attending tradeshows, and conducting informational presentations at universities, clubs, and civic groups
- Develop press releases, brochures, and other marketing materials
- Develop and maintain the organization's website
- Organize outreach events, including sales, marketing, and planning, to promote the services of the organization and receive donations
- Oversee volunteer engagements and provide training and support as needed
- Perform administrative duties
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- An associate degree in advertising, graphic design, marketing, journalism, public relations, social services, or related field
- 2-3 years' experience in the field may be advantageous
- Strong industry knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Experience with institutional databases, public access sites, and primary research skills
- Good reporting, technical, and statistical skills
- Experience with budget management
- Bilingual skills (Spanish-English) are a plus
