Responsibilities

- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort for clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist clients with memory care needs, providing patience and understanding.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering independence and skill development.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or hospice care is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care techniques and caregiving best practices is essential.
- Experience working in nursing homes or memory care facilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
