Key Responsibilities for Assistant Financial Controller:

🔹 Own the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.

🔹 Oversee G/L accounting, AP & AR functions, and inventory accounting & analysis (high attention to detail required).

🔹 Work hands-on in the financial trenches, while also driving big-picture financial strategy.

🔹 Utilize advanced MS Excel skills to streamline financial processes and provide key insights.

🔹 Analyze and support multi-revenue stream businesses, including e-commerce, inventory, and wholesale.

🔹 Provide financial reporting and analysis for leadership, influencing key business decisions.

What You Bring to the Table as an Assistant Financial Controller:

✔ GAAP expert with strong financial accounting & general ledger experience.

✔ Proven track record in leadership, managing and mentoring an accounting team.

✔ Highly proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling, etc.).

✔ Exceptional ability to close the books accurately and efficiently.

✔ Strong attention to detail in inventory accounting and analysis

✔ Experience in multi-revenue stream businesses, e-commerce, or wholesale is a plus not a deal breaker.

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex financial environment.
