REPORTS TO: Roustabout Pusher

TYPE: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Roustabout Hand is responsible for daily tasks related to various oilfield service projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION - Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to this position; working some weekends and holidays will be required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment, working effectively with co-workers, supervisors and vendors.
• Assists with tank installations and repairs, digging pits and lines, installs and repairs plumping and piping, general clean-up of construction sites, installs motors on equipment, responsible for tie down of pumping units and installing counter weights for balancing pumping units, hauls pipe and rods, and hauling and running the necessary equipment
• Ensures good customer service.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Attends various safety meetings for our company and our customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain; incumbents may be required to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, standing or walking for prolonged periods of time; manual dexterity; adequate eyesight, hearing, and speech required. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. When work is performed outdoors, there is full exposure to the elements. The incumbent uses a computer, keyboard and related equipment, drives a vehicle on company business, sits, stands, walks, reaches and grasps. The incumbent must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and have mobility, balance, coordination, vision, hearing and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

Travel: Travel may involve an occasional trip within the local region. No long-distance travel is expected for this position.
