Job Summary
New View Windows and Doors is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a seamless customer experience by managing communication and ensuring timely updates regarding service requests, parts orders, and project completion. The ideal candidate will excel at keeping customers informed, coordinating with team members, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication
- Keep customers informed about the status of their service requests, including updates on ordered parts, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and completion timelines.
- Notify customers promptly when parts arrive and coordinate scheduling for service appointments.
- Follow up with customers after task completion to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Coordinate service schedules with technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage updates and changes to schedules based on parts availability or customer needs.
Administrative Tasks
- Track and monitor parts orders, ensuring accurate records of shipment ETAs and arrival dates.
- Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions, service updates, and task statuses in the company’s system.
Customer Satisfaction
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
- Gather feedback to help improve service processes and customer experience.
Team Support
- Collaborate with technicians, sales teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide updates to internal teams about parts statuses and customer feedback.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or coordination roles.
- Experience in the windows, doors, or construction industry is a plus.
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or scheduling software.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
