General Summary
Responsible for providing broad-range support in all functional areas of operations, including organizational development and training, regulatory compliance, client engagement and success, KPIs, and conflict resolution. Works under general supervision of President & CEO. Primary functions typically require exercising independent judgement. Has direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is to add to the rising need of the continuous growth and is required to have an open schedule. Typical schedule is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm in office/field hours.
- Motivate, coach and train New Wave Security Solutions managers, supervisors, and guards, set goals, hold teammates accountable, and provide appropriate feedback, rewards, and recognition.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and ensure development of, and adherence to New Wave Security Solutions’ operations policies, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Direct oversight of managers scheduling teammate training, regular hours, overtime, and post order compliance.
- Decisively identify gaps in training and development for all teammates, develop and implement training measures to ensure continued professional development.
- Continuously audit and review programs, policies and procedures to ensure New Wave Security Solutions is proactive and vigilant, updating as necessary.
- Direct oversite to all training functions from: Armed guards, Taser guards, Unarmed guards, Mobile Patrol guards, self-defense tactics, use of force continuum, live scenario training, etc.
- Gain and maintain excellent knowledge of competition and general industry trends.’
- Monitor operating results and compare outcomes with budgets, other client performances, and with industry averages.
Other Duties Include:
- Help obtain new security contracts by demonstrating professionalism and hospitality to potential clients.
- Must be able to respond to any active situation pertaining to guards and contracted sites within a reasonable amount of time.
- Ability to coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in an operations management role or higher
- High school diploma
- Must live in Denver metro area or be willing to relocate
- Must have open and flexible schedule to fulfill business, client, and emergency needs
- Must possess strong communication/listening skills, speaking, reading, writing, and computer skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Denver Guard Card and knowledge of Denver guard application process through Denver Department of Excise and Licensing
- Security industry knowledge and experience
- College education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
