Currently we are seeking a Fabrication Operator to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will operate fabrication machinery in a safe manner to fabricate steel parts for refuse equipment.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Use fabrication equipment and associated tooling in an efficient manner to optimize production.
- Maintain accuracy of fabricated parts by reading blueprints and measuring using precision measuring devices.
- Maximize machine efficiency to produce the necessary parts needed to meet production orders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping on equipment.
- Operate a forklift or crane as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
- Report safety hazards or mechanical failures to the Safety Department, Maintenance Department, Lead and Supervisor.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
- 1 year of experience preferred in fabrication.
- Crane and forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Math skills including fractions, decimals, and angles.
- Maintain a positive sense of teamwork, including the ability to maintain regular attendance.
