The Automated Arm - Final Assembler will assemble both Sidewinder and Rotopac automated arms for garbage truck assemblies. This person will be responsible for the complete assembly of the arms starting with raw steel and various components to making it a fully functional arm. All wiring and hydraulic components will need to be added to make the arms operate. This will include installation of bearings/rollers using a variety of hand and power tools, forklifts, and cranes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are produced on time/schedule.
- Keep track of all parts and tools.
- Follow assembly procedures.
- Operate forklift and crane in a safe manner.
- Report all hazards to the Safety or Maintenance Department.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and their operations (wrenches, ratchets, torque wrenches)
- Good communication
Education and Experience:
- Bridge crane and forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear PPE as prescribed in Safety policies.
- Prolonged periods on the factory floor in various environments.
- Typically indoors around noise and power tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
