Title: Project Manager
Job Overview: New West is seeking a candidate with 2-4 years of experience managing high end custom residential construction. Candidate must be proficient in Procore Project Management and Administration. Project Managers are responsible for planning and overseeing a specific project or a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end. They balance the budget, keep track of supplies, collaborate with subcontractors, and ensure all regulations are met and permits acquired. Project Managers handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects. This position is full-time and exempt.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Directs team members (employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.
- Controls any number of projects at various stages of work. Reviews records of accounts and inputs entries to proper accounts.
- Consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and construction time.
- Plans layouts of projects and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
- Checks a set of drawings and prepares feedback for staff. Details any type of building. Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
- Represents clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
- Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic onsite observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
- Prepares studies and reports.
- Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment.
- Directs activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
- Adhere to company safety procedures and policy, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and operation of company vehicles and equipment.
- May require little to no travel. Mostly between the office and jobsites.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
- Previous work experience managing budgets for projects or construction management
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Procore and Bluebeam and other construction management software
- Proven ability to manage individual projects in Procore as well as knowledge of Procore Administrative duties.
- Understanding of construction management processes, Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
