Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of NOMAD's mobile energy storage projects. This role involves managing schedules, budgets, stakeholder communication, and resources to ensure the successful implementation of projects. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to meet customer needs and achieve company objectives.
This position is based in Waterbury, Vermont, and may require occasional travel to customer sites for project oversight, system installation, and support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and field service teams to meet project milestones.
- Communicate effectively with customers to define project scope, requirements, and schedules.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking key performance indicators and adjusting as necessary.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or failures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present progress reports to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs and solutions meet project and customer requirements.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of NOMAD's Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Maintain documentation of all project activities, including plans, schedules and lessons learned.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and incorporating field feedback into future projects.
Reports To
The position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.
