Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking bagels and other menu items, while ensuring the highest levels of quality and food safety. The baker is also responsible for delivering the products to our other locations in Fall River & Dartmouth, using our box truck. A valid drivers license is required, as well as a clean driving record.
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a range of baked goods
- Ensure all baked goods meet high standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current trends and techniques in the baking industry.
- Assist with catering and special events, preparing and transporting baked goods as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to achieve overall goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and sales.
Experience:
- Proven experience in the food industry
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong culinary skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Skills:
- Experience with kitchen equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
