Job Title: Store Manager – New York Bagel

Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bagel restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and driving sales. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, and a passion for providing quality food and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Staff Management:
- Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of employees to ensure efficient operations.
- Schedule and assign duties to staff, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback, coaching, and training to staff.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company regulations.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing concerns, and resolving issues.
- Train staff to maintain a high standard of service and hospitality.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Inventory & Ordering:
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of bagels, spreads, beverages, and other necessary products.
- Order supplies and ingredients in a timely manner to prevent shortages.
- Track and control food and beverage costs while minimizing waste.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee daily cash handling, including balancing registers, deposits, and monitoring sales.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and employee hours.
- Monitor store performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Quality Control & Cleanliness:
- Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality.
- Regularly check food preparation areas and dining areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld.
- Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Work with the marketing team to promote the restaurant’s specials, events, and community involvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and the community.
- Reporting & Administrative Duties:
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in food service management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the foodservice industry.
- Basic understanding of financial management, including cost control and budgeting.
- Passion for food and customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment.

Pay: $59,797.00 - $63,872.00 per year
