Responsibilities
This position is responsible for managing the collection department operations which includes ensuring regulatory compliance, budget, achievement of collection goals for homologous and apheresis collections, quality control, and maintaining adequate staffing and competency levels.
Manages, schedules, mentors, trains, develops and provides feedback to staff.
- Ensures regulatory compliance with all functions of the collections department including SOPs, cGMPs, documentation and records maintenance and FDA regulations.
- Ensures completion of instigation, corrective actions and follow-up for all deviations / audit / or regulatory findings.
- Assists with agency inspections.
- Works with internal staff in the achievement of collection goals including promoting the use of automated technology and donor conversion.
- Communicates with internal and external customers regarding best practices and the resolution of problems within the business unit.
- Oversees the records maintenance of all apheresis and collections documents
- Oversee documentation of CLIA forms
- Serves as a resource to collection's supervisors
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $100,000.00 p / yr to $110,000.00 p / yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations.
