Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting a scientific team conducting research in inflammasome biology using biochemical, cellular, structural, and in vivo approaches.
The person would be responsible for conducting independent research, developing and implementing technical protocols, analyzing data, presenting their findings to the laboratory and helping to maintain the laboratory.
Writing peer-review articles and submission of the manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
- Develop a good working relationship with other members of the lab team.
- Lead junior research assistants / technicians / students.
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of the present scientific literature relating to the research in the laboratory.
- Presenting research findings to other members of the laboratory / seminar / conference / symposium.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $81,008.00p / year to $91,532.00p / year. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
Additional $20K housing allowance in addition to base salary.
Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations
