As the Senior Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient management, optimization, and ongoing support of the data platform to meet the City's growing demands for real-time data processing, application integration, data engineering, storage, reporting, and analytics. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining the platform's reliability and scalability as it serves a wide range of city agencies and departments. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of datasets and build data assets that support key city agencies, including 311, Public Safety (911), Sanitation, Health, Buildings, Transportation, and more.

The preferred candidate should possess the following: - 5 years of experience in designing and managing cloud-based data platforms and services, with a proven track record of architecting scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions to support complex, high-volume data operations. - Proven experience managing and optimizing data platforms on major cloud services such as Azure or AWS, with a thorough understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs in the context of DataOps. - Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies, including end-to-end Cl/CD pipeline implementation, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, to ensure efficient, reliable deployment of data services and applications. - Strong experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using modern data engineering frameworks to enable real-time and batch data processing at scale. - Knowledge of orchestration platforms to ensure flexible, scalable data processing and integration. - In-depth understanding of hybrid data integration platforms such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and Spring-based applications, with applied experience using these tools for seamless data workflows. - Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
