Patient Care Caller
Are you an organized, adaptable, and experienced communicator ready to make a difference in patient care? Join our team across five practices in Brooklyn and Queens as a Patient Care Caller.
Salary : $30,000-300,000
Responsibilities :
Reach out to patients via phone calls to follow up on their recent medical appointments or treatments.
Listen attentively to patients' concerns, questions, and feedback regarding their care experience.
Provide empathetic and knowledgeable responses to address patients' inquiries or escalate issues to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Accurately and thoroughly document all interactions with patients in our database or electronic dental records system.
Ensure compliance with all patient privacy and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA) during interactions.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare procedures, policies, and best practices.
Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service or patient care role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying empathy and professionalism over the phone.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Detail-oriented and organized, with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
Proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records systems; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging or emotional situations.
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.
Familiarity with Dental or Medical Insurance Processes
