Job Description:
- Analyzes financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of liability, or other financial activities within our organization.
- Work includes general accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, quality improvement and budget functions
- Coordinate computerized accounting system within assigned area
- Certifies the accuracy and validation of invoices by verifying supporting documentation for all expense reports.
- Works closely with Programs and Services for interpretation Department of Child Services (DCS),Travel policy
- Advises the Regional Finance Manager of budgetary issues or concerns regarding travel
- Serves as a liaison with Regional Finance Managers, Vendors, and Field Operations
- Mail room backup
Required Skills:
- Prior experience in an accounting role.
- Prior experience analyzing and preparing financial reports.
- High School Diploma
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
- Efficient and accurate data entry experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer Service experience
- Prior experience working with State, County or Federal budgets.
- Prior experience with expense auditing and validating.
- Prior experience using PeopleSoft Financials
- Associate's degree or higher in accounting.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $26.88 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
