Duties Description The NYS Office of General Services (OGS) seeks a creative professional to serve as a Digital Designer. The Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content) will function as a Digital Designer within the NYS Digital Media Services Center team to support digital assets across multiple channels, including websites, applications, mobile, social media, and email.
- Create digital assets for various New York State social media channels on multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Contribute and help support New York State brand and design standards.
- Develop and contribute to our design template system used across our websites and applications.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the content strategy and product teams to understand needs and user requirements to design new interactive features.
- Present designs and concepts to various stakeholders
- Provide detailed design briefs for development teams.
- Ensure all designs are accessible.
- Collaborate with the development team to oversee and test the implementation of designs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Operational Needs : This position may require routine evening and weekend work, as well as some travel on occasion.
