Position Information:
Are you searching for an exciting job opportunity this summer? Look no further! The Great New York State Fair is seeking a State Fair Worker to support the Audio-Visual Department. This is a chance for you to work alongside the Fair’s Audio-Visual Specialist and perform a variety of manual tasks in support of operations. From installation, set-up, testing, operations, and repair to maintenance of audio-visual equipment used throughout the State Fairgrounds facilities, you'll be a vital part of the team that makes the New York State Fair come to life!
This is a full-time position that's available from May 2024 through September 2024. As a Labor Class, CSEA-represented position, you can expect a competitive pay rate of $19.25/hour. You'll work in a professional and comfortable environment with ample free parking.

Minimum Qualifications:
While there are no education or experience qualifications or requirements for this position, candidates must have the physical ability to perform work consisting of light or medium to heavy physical labor. When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated.
