The Green Thumb Program is a senior work program for individuals 55 years old and older.
Job description
This position is to provide clerical support and customer service at the front desk of the NYSDEC.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Greeting visitors as they enter the vestibule and refer them to the appropriate unit for assistance.
· Answer the main phone line and refer the caller to the appropriate program for assistance.
· Post and distribute mail, including inter-agency mail
· Manage bluebird box list
· Special project as assigned.

· None
Preferred Skills/Experience:
· Comfortable working with computers
· Customer service
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Hours: Monday/Tuesday: 8:00am to 4:30pm, Wednesday: 12:30-4:30pm
