Position Description:
The Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District Board of Education seeks an exceptional leader for its next Superintendent of Schools. The suburban school district, which lies about ten miles southeast of Syracuse, serves more than 4,200 students from the villages of Fayetteville and Manlius and surrounding areas. Since its establishment in 1951, the district has benefitted from consistent leadership with only six superintendents at the helm. This stability has contributed to the district’s state and nationally recognized achievements. The district is committed to building upon this academic excellence by focusing on authentic learning experiences, civic responsibility and innovative programs.
