What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at New York State Unified Court System?
The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Analyst in the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, Attorney for the Children. This position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicants selected: Senior Court Analyst or Court Analyst. The individual assigned to this position will have primary responsibility for administration of the Attorneys for Children Program’s annual panel redesignation application process, and primary responsibility for administration of the AFC Program’s annual Hon. Michael F. Dillon Awards ceremony and will serve as a backup to the Principal Court Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiling voucher system data and preparing reports as requested.
- Assisting with desk audits of attorneys suspected of voucher fraud, as needed.
- Preparing orders and correspondence designating/removing attorneys from the AFC panel.
- Compiling list of new judges and preparing correspondence to new judges.
- Collecting updated contact information for AFCs, judges and court clerks and maintaining updated email distribution lists in SharePoint.
- Analyzing vouchers for accuracy and compliance with vouchering guidelines and processing them for payment in the Statewide Financial System (SFS), as needed.
- Following up with court reporters regarding noncompliant claims for payment.
- Assisting in training employees.
Qualifications:
Senior Court Analyst: One year in the Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $76,112
Court Analyst: One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $64,971
