The Electrical Engineer works within an engineering team to design and develop electrical systems and components for high-quality, state-of-the-art CNC precision machine tools and related equipment. This role is responsible for design analysis, detailed documentation, and coordination with operations personnel to ensure the successful production of finished products. The Electrical Engineer applies expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems within a dynamic and growing manufacturing industry.
Essential Functions:
- Design and document electrical systems in compliance with machine tool standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Create electrical drawings using AutoCAD (Electrical preferred).
- Define all electrical components and bills of materials within the ERP system.
- Develop cost estimates for projects and ensure conformance to project budgets.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance equipment performance, manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct electrical tests and troubleshoot equipment.
- Assist with assembly during new product introductions.
- Participate in in-house machine start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and sign-off.
- Provide support for service and maintenance of installed equipment.
- Collaborate with Control Systems and Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Service teams.
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required; 3-5 years of related experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Experience in the design, repair, and analysis of electrical/electronic systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
